In France, the COVID certificate is issued to people who have tested negative or who have been fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency or one of the equivalents to these vaccines.
In order to facilitate the stay of non-European tourists in France, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs set up a specific mechanism, since 9 August 2021 for issuing a COVID vaccine certificate of equivalence which is valid on French territory.
This system is only open to non-European tourists who are already in France or who will arrive on or before 26 August 2021. Requests concerning arrival at a later date will be processed later.
N.B.: a temporary QR code can also be generated by a healthcare professional following a negative RT-PCR or antigen test
For foreign citizens, or French citizens living abroad, please refer to the heatl pass measures described here :
A request for cancellation of an activity by a customer, in connection with the health pass requirement, does not in any way fall within the exceptional and unavoidable circumstances or force majeure. The general terms and conditions of sale and the Tourism Code must therefore be applied if a customer wishes to cancel his or her stay by invoking the implementation of the health pass.
