Patrouille de France (Saturday)

Considered one of the most prestigious acrobatic formations in the world, the Patrouille de France has been evolving in the sky with grace and elegance for 66 years. A notoriety acquired over the years by the generations of aviators who have succeeded each other, so that the figures presented continue to impress and move those who watch it.
The Patrouille de France has been equipped with Alphajet since 1981. It is a military aircraft intended for training or ground attack built in nearly 500 units by Dassault-Breguet-Dornier.
Successively called ‘Patrouille d’Etampes’, ‘Patrouille de l’Ecole de l’air’, ‘Patrouille de Tours’, and ‘Air Force Presentation Squadron’, the Patrouille de France will get its final name when Jacques Noetinger, commentator of the meeting in Algiers on May 17, 1953, shouted in front of the audience, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, the Patrouille de France salutes you!’Elegant and majestic, the Patrouille de France (PAF) combines rigour, training, concentration and enthusiasm. The displays of the PAF impress wherever it moves, with its figures that are both technical and aesthetic.
