Fly & Fun team, L-39 Albatros

A former high-performance military trainer, the L39 Albatros is a two-seater, single-engine aircraft of Czech origin that is both powerful and easy to handle. It is appreciated by pilots for its agility and robustness.
To date, more than 2,800 L-39s have served with over 30 air forces around the world. The Albatros is the most widely used jet trainer in the world; in addition to performing basic and advanced pilot training, it has also flown combat missions in a light-attack role.
The Fly & Fun formation was created over 8 years ago. It was launched in 2014 under the name of Sparflex formation. It consisted of a two-ship team to start with, and a third aircraft was added in 2020. Based in Reims-Prunay, the team participates in many airshows in France and also offers introductory flights in its unique flight school in Europe.
