Storch F-AZRA

The Fieseler 156 Storch is an astonishing machine capable of taking off in less than 65 metres, landing in around 20 metres and standing virtually motionless in the air against the wind.
Born of a project dating back to 1935 and accepted by the Luftwaffe in 1937 after trials, it was used for liaison, observation, transporting the wounded and commando missions, and served on all fronts throughout the war. After the war in France, Morane-Saulnier built the Storch, which it named the Criquet.
