Vintage elegance from the Alps

From Switzerland, the Classic Formation revives the golden age of aviation with a unique formation  in Europe, made up of a Douglas DC-3 and three Beechcraft Model 18s. Restored and maintained with passion, these emblematic aircraft from the 40s and 50s put on a breathtaking show in close formation, combining the charm of classic warbirds with the precision of a perfectly choreographed aerial ballet.

Precision aerial ballet

The Classic Formation is renowned for its meticulous, low-altitude formation flight demonstrations, offering the public a perfect symbiosis of visual beauty and period sound. Their presence at an airshow is always a highlight, given how rare these aircraft are to fly together – and even rarer to fly in formation.
